Pino Silvestre

Pino Silvestre—the Italian name for "Scots Pine"—is an iconic Italian men's fragrance launched in 1955. With its distinctive pine aroma, paired with traditional men's fragrance components including lavender, basil, spices and moss, bottled in a green pinecone-shaped vessel, the fragrance is an affordable and enduring masculine classic.

Originally created by chemist Lino Vidal, the fragrance and the brand changed hands a few times over the years. Vidal family member Massimo founded MaVive in 1986, and repurchased the Pino Silvestre brand and fragrance created by earlier generations of his family. The original version of Pino Silvestre is today offered as Pino Silvestre Original, and several flankers were launched over the years.
